1939 Ford 4 Door Convertible

This 1939 Ford 4 door convertible has an all steel body with a 1985 tuned port small block Chevy with a 700r automatic transmission.

Here's a picture of the Ford before the project was started.

Starting the basic outline of the flames.

One side laid out and one to go!

Flames are masked and ready to spray.

House of Kolor yellow and orange will be applied.

Yellow and orange is now applied.

Flames are pinstriped with custom mixed blue pinstiping paint

An ex caliber dagger brush is used for hand pinstriping.

The clear coat has been color sanded and polished. Shine baby shine!

The lower section of the dash containing the stereo was fabricated.

Trunk pannels were fabricated and covered with black carpet.

Brackets were fabricated from polished aluminum. The engine was painted and detailed.

Finally! The car is done.

On the rear, the license plate holder has been recessed and the tail lights have been frenched.
